Sugar Aloes (Michael Anthony Osuana) began his singing career in 1979 at the Original Young Brigade Tent and became very popular from the mid-1990s through the 2000s with his political commentary. He won his first Calypso Crown in 2002 with “Contribution” and “Jubilation Time,” and in 2008 with “Reflections.”
