Natasha Joseph, a leading, national first place winning pannist from Trinidad and Tobago has made her solo debut with Chutney Classics on Pan. A dedicated and longtime member of Panazz Players, Ms. Joseph switches to the tenor pans for this recording. Accompanied by harmonium, dholak, synthesizer and drums, she is at ease in displaying both her own skill as a pannist and the versatility of the pan. Chutney Classics on Pan includes Lootala, Jahaji Bai, Aap Jaisa Koi (Real Unity) and Ras Shorty I’s Shanti Om.
